- Ysabel Henriette-Thérèse Hesme was an English teacher at lycées in Marseille, Égletons, and elsewhere. In 1952, she married married Christian Marie Maurice Birot. The Shakespeare and Company address book includes two addresses for Mlle Hesme: Le Fô par Abusson and the Villa Bon Accueil in Antibes. The Project has not been able to identify exact coordinates for either address.
