- The photographer Philippe Pottier was the bother of lending library member Blanche Pottier. Their father, René Pottier (1876 – 1968), co-owed the Les Trois Quartiers department store. René and his wife Marie Thérèse Roblot (1874 – ) rented their apartment to Ernest Hemingway and Pauline Pfeiffer in 1927.
